A good friend of mine, Carlos Guerra, told me...

If you always give more than you take, in the long haul, you will receive more than you gave.

When I first began with an interest in web design and graphic design, I started with a blank slate. Thankfully, along the way, I've had numerous mentors in the field who have been willing to share tips, strategies, and creative ideas with me. It's often so nice to have that one friend you can call up and ask that technical question you can't seem to figure out.

In keeping with that tradition, Ranch House Designs created the Boot Camp to share the knowledge and skills we have developed along the way. We believing in helping teach others the skills it took us over ten years to learn, as a way to give back to others and share our passion for creativity.

Meet your boot camp instructor...

Rachel Williams Cutrer
Over 10 years ago, Rachel got her start in the business with a Photoshop for Dummies book, a sketch pad where she drew out hundreds of "pretend layouts" just for fun, and a dream to bring big city advertising creativity to the agriculture industry. She was the pioneer in creative agricultural web design, bringing a new standard to the field with the hundreds of web sites created through her companies Ranch House Designs and previous Two Girls Web Design. Now, she focuses more on print designs, creating thousands of pages of printed material per year. Rachel has won over 15 national awards in graphic design.

Rachel is usually the first one at the RHD office, where she secretly adjusts the thermostat, plays iTunes all day, and sips on a Diet Dr. Pepper while working her magic for the over 500 print clients at RHD. After a day at the office, she loves hopping in the passenger seat of her husband Brandon's truck, and spending time helping him on the ranch.
