It was really fun to work with the Prause family to build a new website for their Polled Hereford farm. Prause Polled Hereford Farms is located southwest of Yoakum, TX and has a cow herd of 200 registered Polled Hereford cows, with heavy influence of Anchor genetics and other performance lines to raise growth, functional cattle. They raise straight Polled Herefords, and also top quality Super Baldies using JLS Brangus Bulls. The Prause’s are known for having great herd sires, including Anchor 50Z, CSR 32R Neal 76-A, Mohican Xerox Z20, DRC 3238 King 6X, BBH 16T Zeus 241Z and Will-Via Mr Conservative T-168. They welcome visitors at any time!
ABOUT THIS DESIGN
We were really excited to create this website, because we have been friends on Facebook for quite some time with the Prause family and it was so fun to get to work on their project. The cattle business is all about relationships and it is such an honor for us to get to work with fellow beef producers in Texas. The thing we really like about this website is the great photos we had to work with! There’s nothing better than having a really vibrant, beautiful scenic picture for the home page of your website, like Prause’s. The colors of green and brown look so well together and also really compliment the hide color of the Hereford cattle. This particular site was a fun one to do, because it was one of the first “Package A” websites we began offering in 2016. We had many friends who were needing a smaller website with just a few pages to get started with their first website. We made a lower-level page count website to accommodate these needs. The Prause family was the first customer to book this package and so it was really fun to be able to build their website that currently featured a home page, herd page, and contact us page….knowing that as time, the website can easily be expanded if needed.
