Our Annual Marketing Summit is the leading workshop for marketing agri-businesses and purebred livestock. For nearly 10 years, hundreds of individuals have attended our workshops to improve their skills in livestock photography, social media, branding, marketing strategy, and more. Our workshops are taught by ag people, for ag people. You’ll find our workshops casual, laid back, and welcoming. Our staff is passionate about helping our fellow producers and friends learn more ways they can take on their farm and ranch marketing or ag-business marketing.


Who Should Attend


• Farm and Ranch Professionals wanting to improve their marketing skills and learn some DIY tools.
• Ag Organization professionals and volunteers who work to promote a product or service in Agriculture.
• Marketing Professionals in local, state, regional and corporate Ag Businesses.
• College students majoring in Ag Communications.

What to Expect


• Learn and socialize in a small, casual workshop made up of people who love marketing and come from an ag or grass-roots background.
• Learn cutting-edge marketing strategies that are proven to work. How do we know? We use them ourselves in our own farms, ranches and ag businesses.
• Learn DIY skills to be able to effectively manage some of your own marketing, social media and more.
• Develop the skills needed to take great photos, even if it just includes your iPhone camera.
• Have a great time in Nebraska meeting new friends and lifelong contacts!

    • Whether you’ve been in business 1 month, or 100 years, every great brand is built on a great brand story. Your brand story is what people believe in. In this session, we will discuss how businesses identify and position their core values, branding basics, marketing personas and brand pillars. If you don’t have any of these - don’t worry! We’ll help walk you through how to identify and develop these.

  • 10:15 a.m. The Digital Era: Using Content Marketing to Propel Your Sales and Lead Generation - Ashley Grant
    • Forget everything you thought you knew about content marketing and get ready for this totally updated, new workshop taught by RHD’s Chief Marketing Officer. This session will focus on content strategy, creating content, and developing new leads focused around the digital era.

    • Oh the algorithms, they are a changin. Just when you think you’ve figured out social media, something new pops up. This session will include social media tips and forecasting from our entire RHD team. We believe you don’t have to spend thousands to have a great social media presence if done well.   • 2:40 p.m. Photography Session: You Don’t Have to Be A Professional, But We Can Help You Get There! - Leighton Chachere
    • Learn how to improve your photography skills to propel your marketing, from tips on taking images to how to select the perfect images for your marketing efforts. We’ll discuss all kinds of photography from cattle photography to product photography, scenic and lifestyle shots. Learn about different camera options, and when to work with a professional and when to DIY.
  • 3:25 p.m. Ag Marketing in 2010: The Top 9 Trends To Follow - Rachel Cutrer
    • In our closing session, RHD founder and livestock marketing visionary discussing the top 9 trends to follow and incorporate by 2020 to keep your marketing at the top.
