Paul Maulsby – Vice President, National Accounts

Paul Maulsby is Vice President, National Accounts for Ranch House’s agri-business and ranching clients nationwide. Paul comes from a third generation ranching family in Clayton, New Mexico, where he has a lifetime of experience in the livestock industry. He holds a B.S. in Agriculture with a Minor in Advertising and Business from Oklahoma State University and a M.S. in Beef Cattle Production from Texas A&M University.

Paul brings a wide array of both marketing and production experience – making him perfectly suited to serve Ranch House key accounts. He has experience working for two national publications – one in the racehorse industry and one in the junior livestock industry. For 10 years, he was a managing partner in Ayers Farms of Snyder, Oklahoma. Under Paul’s management, Ayers Farms went from a brand-new start up operation to a ranch of national prominence. The farm held annual production sales, sold cattle throughout the United States, and bred many national champion Simmentals during his tenure.

Paul also spent 12 years as Director of Cattle Operations at Texas A&M University’s Beef Center. While there, he was responsible for the direction of the A&M cattle program which serves a role in teaching, extension, and research for students at A&M as well as the general public. Paul taught classes in Beef Cattle Production and Merchandising and was responsible for coordinating national and international leadership programs which were hosted by the Texas A&M University Beef Center. In addition to those responsibilities, he aided in the organization of numerous livestock judging contests throughout the state of Texas and coordinated nationally attended Show Cattle Camps.

Early in his career, Paul created his own purebred cattle consulting business, MP3 Cattle Services, which aids clients in managing and marketing their diverse cattle programs. This experience is proving extremely valuable to Ranch House cattle clients, who appreciate Paul’s ability to assist their programs not just with marketing and promotion, but from an overall big picture management perspective as well.

Paul is very involved in the livestock industry, serving as an assistant superintendent of the Houston Livestock Show 4-H and FFA livestock judging contest, as well as superintendent of junior and open cattle shows at the State Fair of Texas. Paul also enjoys judging cattle shows throughout the U.S. and internationally. He has judged at Denver, Louisville, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston as well as numerous state and and national shows. His experience in beef cattle selection is highly valued by our Ranch House clients.

Paul is extremely proud of his two daughters, Anna and Sydney who are active in showing cattle at the national and state levels. Anna is currently a senior and Sydney a freshman at Texas A&M University.
