Sarah Cook Hill – Sales Associate
Sarah Hill of Hallettsville, Texas, is the newest addition to the Ranch House Designs team, signing on as a Sales Consultant. Agriculture has been ingrained in her throughout her life through raising and showing beef cattle, rice farming and horses.
She previously worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Hochheim Prairie Farm Mutual Insurance in their corporate office in Yoakum, Texas. Prior to that Sarah was an Advertising Sales Manager for the Paint Horse Journal, the official publication of the American Paint Horse Association in Fort Worth, Texas, where she was the publication’s first Million Dollar Producer in print advertising revenue and sold the first centerfold in the magazine’s history.
Born and raised in Hallettsville, Texas, Sarah earned a B. S. in Agriculture from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Shortly after, she met her husband Shawn, who is a Ranch Manager in Edna, Texas. They have been married for twenty – five years.
Their pride and joy is fifteen year old daughter, Abigail, who is an Honors Student and a Texas State 4-H Livestock Ambassador, who plans to major in Nursing following high school graduation.
Sarah comes from an eighth generation, south Texas ranching family. Her dad taught Ag in Hallettsville for thirty-five years, while Sarah was very active in the Texas Club Calf Association (TCCA) showing both steers and heifers, winning multiple year end breed and showmanship buckles.
Outside of work, Sarah’s time and energy is focused on her family, including their rescue Shi Tzu, Dolly and adopted orange cat, Thomas. She also enjoys helping out with Abby’s competitive swim team, the El Campo Red Wave and their local 4-H Club, the Lavaca County Green Leaves Club.
