The history of Jordan Acres begins in the mid 1850s when Andrew Jordan became the first settler to Drummer Township. Much of his original land has been sold off but 160 acres remains in the family. Walter and Darrell purchased 240 acres and their first registered Shorthorn in the 1940s. From the 70’s to the 90’s, Darrell and Denny built the herd of registered Shorthorns to be recognized nationwide. The operation continues to grow with family and cattle.
ABOUT THE DESIGN
Jordan Acres chose our Package A website with a western design. We used a landscape photo in the headed to give the website an open feel and added “Registered Shorthorn Cattle” under their logo to tell visitors what they raise as soon as they get to the website. This website has pages for Herd Bulls, Donors, Sale Ring, and Winners that are easy to navigate and update. View the complete website design at jordanacres.com.
