K&D Design is an adorable boutique located in Wharton, Texas, owned by Kaytee and Debbie, a fun-loving mother-daughter team. They opened their shop in Monterrey Square in Wharton a couple of years ago, and filled it with stylish ladies apparel, including plus sized clothing, jewelry, home decor, candles, baby and wedding gifts and much more.

About the Design
Since a lot of the RHD staff shops at K&D Design, we were so excited when we got the call from Kaytee and Debbie about creating a new logo and website design for their shop. They wanted their logo to look fun and feminine, using mint green and blush colors. We created a round, badge-style logo with hand drawn elements and original calligraphy to give them a one of a kind logo. This logo will also be used on their bags, business cards and signage.

nce the logo was completed, we began to work on the website. Kaytee and Debbie wanted to carry over the modern and feminine design of the logo into the website. We used a white background to give the website an airy and open feel, and then added a subtle tribal print to the design header. This website also has an online store, which allows for K&D Design to increase sales and target a larger market outside of the Wharton area.
