LOCATION: Wharton, Texas.
HOURS: Retail hours Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Work to be completed with some degree of flexibility during these times.
SALARY: Negotiable based on experience
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive sales and marketing and promotional efforts of the brick and mortar farm to table store and venue.
- Coordinate a weekly beef special
- Create social media content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Conduct monthly give-a-ways
- Create and coordinate monthly farm-to-table box ideas
- Promote event rentals
- Help organize and brainstorm monthly special events
Job Requirements
- Critical analysis of sales trends and data
- Social media photography
- Knowldge of Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Self starter
- Organized
- Creative and willing to help suggest new ideas for sales and marketing
REQUIRED SOFTWARE SKILLS:
- Canva or Photoshop
- Google Docs / Sheets (similar to Word/Excel)
- Mac computer
- Competent in web browsers and Google
- Calendar (Apple Calendar / iPhone Calendar)
PREFERRED SOFTWARE SKILLS:
- Shopify
- Basecamp
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Preference given to applicants with B.S, or associate degree. High school diploma required.
