It was a real honor to work with the Shockley Ranch Hereford team to build their new website this month! Located in Poteau, Oklahoma, this ranch was established in 1998 and are proud members of the American Hereford Association. This outstanding operation has owned the past American Hereford Association Show Bull of the Year and multiple dams of distinction in the Hereford breed. They maintain very high standards for birth weight, weaning weight, yearling weight and more. They sell around 50 bulls and females a year, mostly by private treaty, and welcome your visit and appreciate your interest in our program.
ABOUT THIS DESIGN
It’s always great to have amazing photos to work with in a design, and we really enjoyed this one. We love the photos of the great Hereford cattle in the scenic farm and ranch setting. The photos serve as the main emphasis of this design. We also wanted to incorporate the ranch name and brand. The colors are calming and subtle blues that really work well with the Hereford hide.
