Marketing Coordinator – Cutrer Family Brands

The Cutrer brand is seeking candidates for a marketing coordinator to manage and develop the overall brand promotion and PR strategy of four of their family-owned brands. This position is specialized in digital projects, spreadsheets, budgets, email blasts, social media, and special events. Position to begin late summer 2021 or sooner. Expected hours = 35-40 hours per week, some weekends during Farmers Market seasons. 

COMPANY CULTURE We are fast paced, multi-tasking office that works with numerous clients and projects simultaneously. Most of our communication is email or text based so proficiency in both of these is required. 

LOCATION: Wharton, Texas.

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience. Benefits available after a probationary period including health and dental insurance, retirement program, and paid vacation. 


Ranch House Designs Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule daily social media posts for Facebook and Instagram
  • Creating and scheduling email blasts and lead pages for company sales efforts
  • Work with Rachel Cutrer to develop overall core sales efforts and trends
  • Listen in on sales calls, attend sales meetings if needed, to assist CEO with project estimates and quoting
  • Maintain current list of sales prospects (Google Sheets)
  • Enter basic client data in Quickbooks
  • Post pre-written blog posts on RHD website twice a month
  • Maintain / update company email list
  • Serve as manager for special events (i.e.. Workshops. Field days, American Rancher episodes, etc.)

BR Cutrer Ranch Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule daily social media posts for Facebook and Instagram
  • Manage schedule for monthly print advertising deadlines and placements
  • Coordinate promotion of two cattle sale catalogs (spring and fall)
  • Managing photo database
  • Working with media images like pulling raw images and video files off a camera card, basic editing in Photoshop such as file re-naming, cropping and downsizing for web.
  • Select and order promotional items (caps/shirts/koozies/etc) for brand
  • Manage client gifting program
  • Respond weekly to requests for catalogs and information (by mail)
  • Organize annual educational workshop (October)
  • Coordinate ranch marketing / promotional materials for 2 major livestock shows
  • Help with hosting special events and visitors at the ranch (usually 2-3 a week)
  • Coordinate monthly webinars on Zoom

Brahman Country Genetics Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule weekly social media posts for Facebook only
  • Manage schedule for monthly print advertising deadlines and placements
  • Coordinate one annual semen catalog (Approximately 70 pages)
  • Work with global semen sales partners to help create content and news releases
  • Maintain photo image database
  • Manage AI Certificate releases (spreadsheet / email skills)
  • Creating and scheduling email blasts
  • Daily releases and fulfillment of customer orders (done via email)
  • Coordinate logistics of shipping semen and embryos from different storage facility to another (email / spreadsheet skills) 
  • Maintain postal mailing lists (spreadsheet skills)
  • Work with global semen distributors to coordinate shipments of semen

Brahman Country Beef / FitBeef Responsibilities:

  • Develop social media content for Brahman Country Beef and FitBeef on Facebook and Instagram
  • Stage / setup beef photos for social media content
  • Work with vendor partners to coordinate wholesale beef orders and fulfilment
  • Develop new markets / partnerships for beef brand
  • Work with restaurants and food service to fulfuil orders
  • Coordinate and develop Farmers Market strategy (spring and fall)
  • Oversee beef delivery inventory every two weeks (unpacking and counting beef product). 
  • Coordinate 2 Farm to Table dinners (spring and fall)

Rachel Cutrer Author Promotion Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule weekly social media posts for Facebook and Instagram
  • Coordinate Rachel speaking appearances and engagements including travel booking


  • Self starter who can execute responsibilities with little to no supervision
  • Quick learner, who is willing to “Google” and “youTube” to find solutions to problems. 
  • Writing skills, specifically skilled at writing social media captions, customer service responses, and general letters. 
  • Time management skills – able to prioritize tasks.
  • Willing to work on a broad range of projects
  • Organized
  • Creative and willing to help suggest new ideas for sales and marketing
  • Ability to think through timelines needed to complete projects. 
  • Photography skills for social media content (even if it’s just using your camera phone) 
  • Drivers license
  • Willing to use your personal vehicle for in-town beef deliveries
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of beef
  • Versatility in daily job activities 
  • Very good at texting / email

  • Preference given to applicants with M.S., B.S, or associate degree. High school diploma required. 
  • Prefer at least two years of practical experience in a professional office environment 
  • Familiarity with cattle business or farm to table business preferred


The successful candidate will be measured by the following metrics: 

  • Hitting monthly company sales goals for beef, semen and cattle. 
  • Hitting monthly goals for number of inquiries to Ranch House Designs for new projects
