Website Termination Agreement

1. Full Payment of Account. Upon receipt of this signed agreement by Ranch House Designs, Inc. (“RHD”), the Client’s full account will come due. Full payment must be received within 30 days in order for domain name and/or .zip file to be transferred.

2. Transfer of Domain Name. Domain name for the website is currently registered under RHD’s account with www.GKG.net. Should client wish, they may initiate a domain transfer at their expense. Domain transfers cannot be processed if the domain has been renewed within the past 60 days. Upon client request and an account in good standing, RHD will unlock the domain name, provide an authorization code, and approve the transfer.

3. Interim Website Function. Client acknowledges that website function and email function may be interrupted during the transfer of the domain name from RHD’s hosting website to the new host.

4. Transfer of .zip File. In the case where the Client wishes to cancel under Option 3 above, the .zip file of the website will include all content uploaded to Client’s website, including the development files of the website design. RHD will remove itself as a user on the website and add Client before downloading website contents to a .zip file. The .zip file will not include the license to any premium plugins used on the website. The .zip file includes only the .sql file and wp-content directories. It does not include the core WordPress files, which are freely available at https://www.wordpress.org. Uploading the zip, reinstating plug ins, and any additional setup is the clients sole responsibility.

5. Technical Support. Upon transfer of domain name and/or .zip file with contents of the website, RHD will no longer be responsible for hosting, function or use of the website, or any other matters related to the website. The website shall be the sole responsibility of the Client. RHD can be hired for technical support for an upfront fee of $400.00, which will constitute two (2) hours of support from RHD. Any additional support will be provided at $200.00 per hour.
